Note:
Whilst reminding
interested parties that the Malta Resources Authority is still
receiving applications in respect of:
1. An
Authorisation to carry out the activity of an importer and or
wholesaler of petroleum; and
2. An
Authorisation to operate a primary storage facility
it would like to
point out that the applications have been slightly modified as
follows:
At the end of the two
applications the following has been added:
“In the compilation of the above
documents, the applicant is to ensure that the criteria listed
in regulation 13 of LN278/2007 (Conditions relating to granting
and renewal of Authorisations) are addressed.
The Malta Resources Authority will
issue an authorisation to the applicant upon a full and correct
submittal of this application and where compliance with the
criteria in Regulation 13 (if applicable) exists.”
This above mentioned
change was included in order to clarify the criteria being
followed by the Malta Resources Authority in the issuing of any
of the above mentioned Authorisations.
All efforts will be
made to ensure an expeditious consideration of the licence
applications.
Stakeholders, market
operators and members of the general public are invited to
direct any query regarding the liberalisation programme to the
Authority:
